The heavier weight will provide added warmth and yet be soft and comfortable with smooth texture.

What are the features of a thermal woven blanket?  First of all it is lightweight for minimal warmth. Thermals  are loosely woven, allowing air to circulate and the blanket to "breathe". When a conventional blanket is used on top it acts as an insulator to keeping warm air close to the body.

Should you consider bedding made from of natural fibers?  Natural fiber is durable and long lasting.  They are an excellent absorber of moisture, which means they will not become clammy from perspiration.

Natural Insulators

These blankets are natural insulators.  Because they are breathable they adjust to changing temperatures and are comfortable for year round use.
